F.A.Q.

The following is the most common questions asked by home owners:

Q: How do I know if a repipe is needed?
A: If you have noticed any of the signs below, it is very likely that you need a repipe:

  • Scalding water while showering
  • Low water pressure
  • Rust-colored water
  • Leaky pipes
  • Corroded pipes
  • Bad tasting water

Q: Can my plumbing service company do a repipe?
A: Not with the same quality service as we can. Overland Plumbing specialists are experts in copper repiping, so they can finish the job in a timely and efficient manner (most jobs are completed within 2 days, depending on project size); other plumbers can take twice as long. We also offer a lifetime guarantee.

Q. How much will a copper repipe cost?
A: It depends on the quantity of the bathrooms, fixtures, and the complexity of the job. An accurate estimate can be given after the site visit.

Q: How messy will my house be during the repipe process?
A: We know our work space is your living space therefore we make things as pleasant for you as possible during the job. Overland Plumbing's trained professionals will cover floor and furniture prior to start of work. We also clean and vacuum the work area at the end of each day.

Q: Will the water be turned off for the entire duration of the repipe?
A: No, the water will be turned off in the afternoon and back on at the end of each workday for your convenience.

Q: Who will patch my walls after the repipe is done?
A: Overland Plumbing will patch all the interior and exterior accesses opened in the course of completing the job.
